Scottish Club head to Aberdeenshire

The Scottish Texel Breeders Club’s summer trip took them to Aberdeenshire for three flock visits as well as a trip to Turriff Show.

On the first day of the trip, Saturday, Club members enjoyed two fantastic flock visits, firstly at the Haddo flock of the Knox family and, secondly at the Uppermill and Tillycairn flocks of the Mckerrow family. Both visits included some fantastic sheep and tremendous hospitality.

The second day of the trip, Sunday, started off with a visit to the Seed family at Auchry for another show of incredible sheep and once again being treated to great hospitality, before moving onto the show itself for a social afternoon.

On Monday the group returned to the show to watch the judging before heading home. The Club extends its congratulations to the Knox family, Haddo, for picking up the championship and thanks all three flocks for taking time out of their schedule to showcase their flocks and farms.
