Phil and Helen Weaver’s Empire flock took a top call of 1550gns at its second production sale at Melton Mowbray.
Topping the sale was WPU2532727, a Whitehart Game Changer daughter out of a dam by Loxley Double Trouble. She found a new home with the Buckle family for the Buckles flock.
Then making 1450gns was WPU2533011, a Dragon Dinomite daughter out of a dam by Canllefaes Big Boy. She was the pick of Matthew Fear, Felton.
And a pair then sold at 1400gns, with the first being a Westgate Gentle Giant daughter, WPU2532762. This one is out of a dam by Millend Desert Orchid and went away with Steve Richardson, Stonedge.
The other at this level was WPU2532901, with this being a daughter of the homebred Empire Ego. She’s out of a dam by Dragon Dinomite and was another bought by Matthew Fear, Felton.
Another two then traded at 1250gns, the first of which was WPU2532714. She’s by Duhonw Flaming Hot and out of a dam by Hornacott Commander and also headed home with Matthew Fear.
And the same buyer then pair the same price for a Scolton Fielder daughter, WPU2532835. This one is another out of a Dragon Dinomite daughter.
