Knap gimmer tops Borderway in-lamb fair

Topping the Borderway in-lamb fair at Carlisle at 2800gns was a gimmer from Robert Cockburn’s Knap flock, CKP2408420. She’s by Knap General Lee and out of a Mellor Vale-bred dam by Seaforde Empire King which bred the 20,000gns I Of The Tiger

Sold carrying twins to Duncryne Hakuna Matata, she sold in a two-way split to Mark Priestley, Limestock and Aidan Branagan, Kilcoo, Co Down.

A pair then sold at 1600gns, with the first being Kerr Jarvie’s gimmer from the Duncryne flock, JRV2400614. This one is a Hexel Geronimo II daughter out of a dam by Milnbank Brooklyn and was sold carrying twins to Rue Wood Indiana. Buying her was T L Forster and Son, Lowgate, Hexham.

And the second at this level was another from Robert Cockburn, CKP2408453. She’s by Teiglum Goliath and out of a dam by Sportsmans Cannon Ball. Sold carrying to the homebred Knap Hammerhead, she was bought by R J Davidson, Stainmore, Cumbria.
