Cefin Pryce’s Caereinion flock led the way at the Shropshire and Borders Club’s in-lamb sale when taking 1300gns for a gimmer by the homebred Caereinion Golden Boy, PEC2401284.
She’s out of a dam by Blaencar Bandit and sold with a top 1% texelplus index. In-lamb to Caereinion Helyg, she was taken by B C and J W Evans, Caersws, Powys.
Next in line at 1200gns was one from Robert Pierce’s Oldford pen, PRE2401735. Sired by Knap Grand Master, she’s out of a dam by Midlock Escobar and sold carrying to Wedderburn Highlander with a top 5% index. She found a new home with M and K Brown, Berriew, Welshpool.
Another from the same home then made 1100gns, with this being PRE2401766. This Claybury Gladiator daughter is out of a dam by Craig Douglas Dancer. She was again in-lamb to Wedderburn Highlander and has a top 25% texelplus index and was knocked down to D L Davies, D L Davies, Llanidloes.
And then at 800gns was PRE2401725, again from Robert Pierce. She’s by Claybury Gladiator and is a full ET sister to the last and again sold carrying to Wedderburn Highlander. Buying this one were previous buyers M and K Brown.
Following up at 750gns was another from the Caereinion pen, PEC2401286. By the homebred Gladiator, she’s out of a dam by Sportsmans V8 and has a top 5% texelplus index. Carrying to Clun Galatico, she found a new home with M Williams Pwllheli.
