Leading the trade was BYZ2435251, a gimmer out of a dam by Haymount Fan Dabi Dozi. Offered in-lamb to the homebred Auldhouseburn Impression, she headed away home with Gareth Flett, Nistaben.
Following her at 2400gns was another from Auldhouseburn, BYZ2435250. This Hilltop Goliath daughter is out of a dam by Seaforde Empire King and was again in-lamb to Auldhouseburn Impression with twins. Buying her was E G Thomas, Wydden.
Then making 2200gns was the best from James Theyer’s Clanfield flock, a gimmer, THE2400053, by the 160,000gns Rhaeadr First Choice and out of a dam by the 100,000gns Auldhouseburn Expression. She was knocked down to Tom Evans, Upperffrydd, carrying to Sportsmans Ice Breaker.
Selling away at 2000gns was an aged ewe from David Dunlop and family’s Holtridge flock, DJJ2300282. This daughter of Auldhouseburn Freaky Friday is out of a dam by Grangour Craftsman and sold having served by Wedderbunr Highlander. She’s a full sister to the female champion at the English National Sale 2024 and was bought by Alan Blackwood, Auldhouseburn.
After that came a 1900gns call for a ewe lamb from Nick Legge’s Thornbury flock, LEN2502612. She’s a Mellor Vale Huntsman daughter out of a dam by Ettrick Grey Goose which is a maternal siter to the 19,000gns Thornbury Ironside. She sold with a top 25% texelplus index and was bought by Messrs Reed and Jenkins, Swn Y Mor.
Two then traded at 1800gns, with the first being another from Alan Blackwood’s Auldhouseburn gimmer offering, BYZ2435235. This Hilltop Goliath daughter is out of a dam by the 350,000gns Sportsmans Double Diamond and sold in-lamb to Auldhouseburn Impression carrying twins. She sold to Charles Jones, Ddol.
And the second to make this money was another Auldhouseburn gimmer, BYZ2435249. This Hope Valley Golden Balls daughter is out of a dam by Haymount Fan Dabi Dozi and sold carrying twins to Okehall Hammerhead when taken by John and Gloria Davies, Aman.
