With the major show season drawing to a close the Society is, once again, running its popular People’s Champion competition, giving you the opportunity to vote for your favourite breed champion of the season from the Society’s six 2024 feature shows, Balmoral, The Royal Three Counties, The Royal Highland, Textravaganza, The Great Yorkshire and The Royal Welsh.
Vote for the 2024 People’s Champion
Champion at Balmoral in May was Mark Priestley’s gimmer PRQ2302488, a Procters El Presidente daughter.
Following that, the champion at Royal Three Counties was James and Ellie Amphlett’s shearling ram, Topwood G Wagon, a Knockem Fandabbydozi son.
Then the Royal Highland Show and Textravaganza National Show were both won by the Campbell family’s aged ewe, CKC2113649. This one is a Hexel Django daughter.
After that it was Allan and Susan Campbell that topped the Great Yorkshire Show with their gimmer VBC2305204. She’s by Knap Flying Scotsman.
And the final feature show of the season, the Royal Welsh Show was won by James Theyer with his gimmer THE2301434. This is a daughter of Rhaeadr First Choice.
