The Chave family’s Peacehay flock produced the day’s top price at the Gloucester and Border Counties Club’s in-lamb sale at Worcester, when taking a 1600gns call.
Sale topper was CFP2303048, an Usk Vale Fandabidozi daughter out of a dam by Peacehay Untouchable and in-lamb to Strathbogie Epic. She sold to Maria Cork, Ashbourne.
Next best at 1200gns was a ewe lamb from James Theyer’s Clanfield flock, THE2400037. She’s a daughter of the 160,000gns Rhaeadr First Choice out of a Hexel-bred dam by Plasucha All Star. This one found a new home with Dave and Helen Smith, Tockington.
Then making 1050gns was another of the Peacehay gimmers, CFP2303087. Sired by Clarks Wizard, she is out of a dam by Tullagh Dizzee Rascal and was sold in-lamb to Usk Vale Fandabidozi when bought by M Toon, Daventry.
Following close behind at 1000gns was another of the Clanfield ewe lambs, THE240004. She’s by Auldhouseburn Grey Goose and out of a dam by Auldhouseburn Expression and sold to Trevor Prew, Milton Under Wychwood.
And then at 900gns was another from the Chaves in the form of CFP2303102. Another by Usk Vale Fandabidozi, she is out of a dam by Clarks Wizard and was knocked down to Sam Inna, Banbury, carrying to Strathbogie Epic.
