Mary was wife of the late Ian Johnstone, founding member and first chairman of the British Texel Sheep Society. She was a very humble and quiet person who liked to work in the background but Ian always insisted Mary’s work and support was hugely important to everything he did which of course included the first importations and formation of the Society.
Mary’s funeral service will be on Tuesday 24th July at Trinity Church, Galashiels, at 10am. Then to Eastlands cemetery Galashiels 11am and to the Phillipburn Hotel thereafter.
