Trade hit a high of 1700gns in the production sale of gimmers from Esmor Evan’s Maerdy flock at Welshpool.
Hitting the high note was a gimmer by the 9000gns Empire God Father and out of a dam by Bettonfield Columbo, EDO2504954. She found a new home with Osian Rhys, Caernarfon, for the Seiont flock.
Following her at 1300gns was EDO2504940. She’s by Campsie Doctor and out of a dam by Forkins Drambuie and was the pick of Meilir Jones, Trelawnyd, for the Gophill flock.
Close behind at 1200gns was EDO2505162, another by Empire God Father and this time out of a dam by Strathbogie Erotic. She also sold to Osian Rhys.
Then making 1100gns was A Scolton Fieldmarshall daughter, EDO2505098. This one is out of a Strathbogie Bingo Lane-sired dam and was also knocked down to Osian Rhys.
And at 1000gns was a daughter of the homebred Maerdy Finlee, EDO2505012. She’s out of a dam by Caron Dynamite and was taken by previous buyer Meilir Jones.
