Loosebeare and Whitehart sale hits 1850gns

The third annual production sale from the Loosebeare and Whitehart flocks saw Texel gimmers peak at 1850gns for an entry from the Quick family’s Loosebeare flock, Devon.

Sale leader was QEL1809073, a Loosebeare All Gold daughter outn of a dam by Mossknowe United. This one had been show this summer and stood first at Royal Cornwall. After spirited bidding she sold to the Pickford family, Macclesfield, Cheshire.

Following that came a 1700gns call for another Loosebeare gimmer, QEL1809025. This Douganhill Whisky Mac daughter is out of a Milnbank Vorderman daughter and sold to James Theyer, Bampton, Oxfordshire.

The Hartwright family then sold their best of the day at 1450gns, with this paid for HWN1804176, a Strawfrank Wild Thing daughter out of a dam by Humeston River Dance. She was knocked down to Adam Neachell, Staffordshire.

Close behind at 1400gns was QEL1808960 from the Loosebeare flock. This Douganhill Whisky Mac daughter is out of a dam by Douganhill Ferrari and was another heading home with Mr Neachell.

Local buyer Tom Goldsmith then paid 1350gns for another Whitehart gimmer, HWN1803964. This is another by Whisky Mac and is out of a dam by Langside The Gaffer.

The Quicks then sold another at 1200gns, with this being QEL1808766, an ET bred daughter of Ballynahone Winner and out of a Loosebeare Rebel daughter. She sold to previous buyer James Theyer.

And Peter and James Vaughan then paid 1050gns for another from Loosebeare QEL1808937. This Loosebeare Voomer daughter is out of a dam by Cannllefaies Vantastic.
