The Society was saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Gloria Davies of the Aman flock. A familiar face both locally in south Wales and among the wider Texel community, Gloria was a central figure in a family firmly embedded in the Texel breed.
Regional board member Keith Thomas said: “Gloria was a friend to everyone, a keen supporter of the Dyfed Texel Club and a valued member of this community. Each and every one of us will miss seeing her at the local shows and sales.
“It was always a pleasure to be in her company and her smile, friendship and warm nature will remain in our memories. Her joy was infectious, and her loss will be deeply felt by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.”
