Topping the Derbyshire Dazzlers in-lamb sale was a gimmer from the Boden family’s Sportsmans flock in the form of BGS2306480.
This Rhaeadr First Choice daughter is out of a dam by Seaforde Empire King and sold carrying twins to Knap Grumpy. She had stood champion in the pre-sale show and was bought by Ben Vernon, Charben, at 1200gns.
Second best at 800gns was another from the same home, BGS2306453. This Haymount Fan Dabi Dozi daughter is out of a dam by Castlecairn Doodlebug and sold in-lamb to Uppermill Highway Express. She was the pick of Messrs Bailey.
Following that at 750gns was the reserve champion and first prize ewe hogg from Ben Vernon, Charben. This was VBC2405493, a Haddo Goliath daughter, she’s out of a dam by Claybury Eurostar and sold to Kenny Titmus, Wychelms.
Then at 580gns was another of the Sportsmans gimmers, BGS2306761. She’s by Rhaeadr First Choice and out of a dam by Garngour Craftsman. Sold carrying to Knap Grumpy, she was knocked down to M Sweetmore.
And at 550gns was another from the same home, BGS2306654. She’s by Haymount Fan Dabi Dozi and out of a dam by Garngour Craftsman and again sold in-lamb to Knap Grumpy. She was bought by Messrs Lowe.
