Eubank delivers knock-out blow at Carlisle

Bradleys Eubank delivered the knock-out blow at last week’s Solway and Tyne Texel Club sale when he sold for the day’s top price of 70,000gns.

This son of Craig Douglas Dancer is out of a dam by Fordafourie Amalert and is a full ET brother to the Lanark champion from the previous week, Bradleys Executioner.

He had stood reserve champion in the pre-sale show and sold in a three-way split to Messrs Boden and Davies, Sportsmans, Highfield Farming, Knockem and Procters Farm, Procters.

Second best at 30,000gns was Cressage Epicentre from Matthew Ellis. Sired by Mellor Vale Dakota, he is out of a dam b Scholars YSL and sold to Vaughan Farms, Kingspark.

Another then sold at the same money in the form of Saltcotes E Class from James Porter. This one is another by Craig Douglas Dancer and is out of a dam by Knap Alligator. Buying him was Alan Blackwood, Auldhouseburn.

Following that at 16,000gns was Kenny Pratt’s Hilltop Escobar, a Castlecairn Diamond Vision son out of a dam by Garngour Alabama. He was shared in a five-way split by James Porter, Saltcotes, Peter Woof, Stainton, Spiros Spyrou, Gib Farm, Messrs Bradley, Far Hey, Messrs Riby, Stonehills, Messrs Bradley, Bradleys.

One from the Feddal Road flock of A Smith then made 14,000gns, with this being Feddal Road Easypeasy, an Ellen Valley Dazzler son out of a dam by Feddal Road Boss Hog. He sold to the Ingram family, Logie Durno.

And selling at 10,000gns was Coniston Equinox from Jennifer Aiken. This son of Sportsmans Double Diamond is out of a dam by Sportsmans Batman and was taken by Donald and Sarah MacPherson, Hexel.

At the same money as the overall champion from the pre-sale show, Procters Einstein from Procters Farm. This another by Double Diamond and is out of a Teiglum Younggun daughter. He was the pick of Messrs Renwick, Craig Douglas.

The very next lot in the ring, Procters Eye Catcher, then made 9000gns. Again by Double Diamond, he is out of a Batman-sired dam and was shared four ways by Dye Clark, Clarks, Legars Ltd, Castlecairn, David Preacher, Holylee, Highfield Farming, Knockem.

Two then made 8000gns, with the first being Morwood Eurostar from Tom Morgan. He’s by Garngour Detroit and out of a Clinterty Yogi Bear-sired dam. He was bought by Usk Vale Pedigrees, Usk Vale, Rob Evans, Hope Valley and Eammon Vaughan, Partridge Nest.

The other at this price was Hexel Emoji from Donald and Sarah MacPherson. He’s by Haymount Crackerjack and out of a dam by Hexel Born To Be Wild and sold to A Euros Jones, Ynystoddeb.

Then making 7000gns was Castlecairn Eye of The Tiger from Legars Ltd. This son of Sportsmans Cannon Ball is out of a Midlock Ali Baa Baa-sired dam. He sold to Allan Campbell, Strawfrank, Ewan MacTaggart, Rascarrel.

Shearling rams

Leading shearling ram trade at 8000gns was Yarrow Diamond from William Douglas, he’s by Craig Douglas Alonso and is out of a dam by the homebred Yarrow Yazza. Buying her were Jonathan Watson, Brijon and Ian Murray, Glenway.

The Chave family then took the same money for Peacehay Dance Monkey, a Mullan Armani son out of a dam by Peacehay Untouchable. He went home with Messrs Smith, Hawick, Roxburghshire.

A 4500gns call then followed for Dragon Dinomite from Geraint Williams and family. He’s a son of Fachell Bobs Worth and out of a dam by Knap Waverly and sold to Phil Weaver, Empire and Peter Longdin, Wellingley.

Selling at 4000gns was Brijon Dark Knick from Jonathan Watson, with this one being by Pant Wolf and out of a dam by Grey Peel Rambo. He sold to Ted Fox, College.

At the same money was Robin and Caroline Orr’s Halbeath Dakota, a Peacehay Ya Belter son out of a dam by Midlock Yorkie. He was taken by Messrs Jones, Llansannan, Denbigh.

Following him at 3500gns was Finevalley Double Yoker Allan Clark. This one is by Scrogtonhead Awesome and out of a dam by Springwell Ulsterboy. He heads to Penrith with Messrs Jenkinson.

Females

Topping the females in the Club sale was a 7000gns call for the third prize gimmer from the pre-sale show, BGS2004514 from the Sportsmans flock of Messrs Boden and Davies. Sired by Garngour Craftsman, she is out of a dam by Knap Vicious Sid and sold to Paul Castle, Ulmas.

Another from the same pen, BGS2004444, then made 4000gns. She’s also by Craftsman and out of a dam by Teiglum Younggun. She sold to John Sinnett, Carlisle.

Then making 2700gns was a Milnbank gimmer from Robbie Wilson. This was LYM2004015, a Knock Yardsman daughter out of a dam by Strathbogie Yes Sir. Buying her were Messrs Jackson, Wigton.

At 2500gns was Myfyr Evans’ fifth prize gimmer ENM2022375, a Brackenridge Crown Royal daughter out of a dam by Teiglum Younggun. She was bought by Messrs Kofali, London.

Annan dispersal

The dispersal of the Annan flock for Keith Jamieson saw a high of 6500gns for JKA2000906, a Procters Crackerjack daughter out of a dam by Knock Yardsman which sold to Messrs Boden and Davies, Sportsmans.

Then at 5500gns was JKA2000912, a Midlock Avici daughter out of a dam by Knock Yardsman which went home with Keith, Alan and Roy Campbell, Cowal.

A 3500gns call then secured JKA2000927. She’s also by Avici and out of a dam by Yardsman again. Buying her were Messrs Pritchard, Tyne and Wear.

Selling for 2800gns was JMW2000946, a Procters Crackerjack daughter out of a dam by Procters Vagabond. She sold to Procters Farm, Procters.
