Dutch Texel lambs took the top awards in both the live and carcass sections at the Royal Welsh Winter Fair, earlier this week.
Taking the live lamb championship were a pair of Dutch Texel cross ewe lambs from Hywel and Enfys Williams which tipped the scales at 97kg and later sold for £520 to Anglesey-based butcher Tom Hughes.
In the carcass classes it was regular exhibitor Robin Slade who took the pairs championship with his Dutch Texel sired lambs.
