Henry Summerhayes’ Holywell flock was in pole position at the South West Texel Club’s progeny show, taking the day’s championship with his shearling ewe.
Reserve overall champion was a ewe lamb from Sam and Natalie White’s Liddimore flock, under judge Graham Hill, Rolle.
In the day’s first class, the shearling rams, the winner was another from Henry Summerhayes, Holywell, with the ram lambs led by the Cobbledick family. Eden.
Then in the pairs class it was again Henry Summerhayes who took top spot. Henry then also won the YDP class, with the novice class won by the Calcraft family, Lapley.
In the day’s young handlers class the championship went to Amy Cobbledick, Eden, who won the senior class, with the under five-year-old class won by Archie Allen.
