Thornbury gimmer leads Worcester in-lamb sale

Nick Legge’s Thornbury flock enjoyed another successful day at the Gloucester and Borders Texel Club’s Christmas Present in-lamb sale, Worcester, when collecting the top price and championship in the pre-sale show.

Close behind at 1900gns was another from Thornbury, LEN2402127. This one, by Ettrick Grey Goose, had been champion in the pre-sale show and is out of a dam by Glenside Forever II. Sold with a top 25% texelplus index, she was offered in-lamb to the homebred Thornbury Invictus, this one found a new home with Andy and Becky Golledge, Standish, Gloucestershire for their Madlot flock.
