Texel sired lambs have enjoyed a fine run of form at recent primestock events, including picking up the reserve overall championship at last week’s LiveScot, Lanark.
Leading the way for the breed here were a pair of lambs from the Hall family, Inglewood Edge, which tipped the scales at 40kg.
Meanwhile, the same exhibitors also took the reserve Continental championship with a pair of 45kg Texel sired lambs at Agri-Expo and the reserve Continental titles at both the English and Welsh Winter Fairs.
