Fordwell scoops Glos and Borders championship

A ewe lamb from the Fordwell flock of Fordwell Farm Partners took the championship at the Gloucester and Borders Texel Club Progeny Show on Sunday May 14th under judge Roy Campbell, Cowan and Royel.

Kindly hosted by the Mitchell family, Avon Vale, the show attracted strong entries in all classes, but it was the ewe lamb class which turned out to be the strongest of the day, with this class also producing the reserve champion, this time from Nick Legge’s Thornbury flock.

The Club is grateful to event sponsors, Taylor Farm Services, J G Animal Health, McCartneys, A B Europe, Elanco, R M Jones, Provita and Rumenco, who’s support of the event is much appreciate and was crucial to its success.
