Last week’s sale of in-lamb gimmers at Stirling saw a top of 3000gns paid for a gimmer from Michael Leggat’s Foremanhill flock.
This sale leader, an Aman Vyrnwy daughter sold in-lamb to Strathbogie Yes Big Boy was knocked down to C Asher, Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
Then at 2400gns was another from the same home, this time a Strathbogie William daughter which was taken by A Jack, Kilroy.
The Wight family, Midlock then sold at 1800gns, with this being a Dechmont Triple Chance daughter which was bought by G Wilson, Hawick.
At the same money was an Auldhouseburn WackoJacko daughter form Richard Reynolds Nillyvolgan flock. This one was first in the show and sold to John Connell Farms.
Jim Innes’ Strathbogie pen then sold at 1700gns for an Aman Vyrnwy daughter which was also taken by Mr Jack.
And at 1100gns was the second prize winner from the show, a Milnbank gimmer by Glenside WillyNilly which headed to Northern Ireland with W Watson. (United Auctions).
