Texel genetics raising money for RHET

A charity auction to raise funds for the Royal Highland Education Trust (RHET) which works with volunteers to provide free educational activities and experimental learning opportunities, aiming to bring farming and the working countryside to life for young people.

Now in its 25th year, RHET works with partners to provide and deliver world-leading learning opportunities for all Scotland’s young people aged 3 to 18 about, in and through the Scottish agricultural environment and the countryside.

As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations a gala ball is being held on Saturday 2nd March, featuring a charity auction. Four lots of Texel genetics are included within the auction.

The first of these is an opportunity to purchase two grade one embryos donated by Robert Cockburn, Knap. The embryos are by 2023 Texel Sire of the Year, Haddo Falcon, and out of a full ET sister to Knap Daisy Duke, dam of the 170,000gns Knap Grumpy.
