The USA is the latest addition to the list of emerging markets for UK sheep genetics with a new export health certificate recently agreed for sheep embryos, following the opening up of semen exports some two years ago.
Interest is already being shown by USA breeders for Texel embryos from the UK and breeders interested in exporting genetics to the USA should liaise with one of the specialist breeding companies, such as AB Europe or Farmgene to fulfil any export orders.

The USA joins a growing number of export markets which have opened up for UK sheep genetics in recent years, including New Zealand and a number of South American countries.
