Texels to 1500gns at South West NSA Sale

Trade at the South West NSA Ram Sale, Exeter, saw a top call of 1500gns and a strong demand for well fleshed Texel rams throughout the day.

Leading the prices was Housey Yeah Man from Emma and Amy Coumbe. This son of Grougfoot Uncle Jim is out of a dam by Aman Teiliwr and sold to the Quick family for their Loosebeare flock.

Following that at 1300gns was the best of the day from the Chave family’s Peacehay flock, Peacehay Young Offender, a Clarks Wizeard son out of a dam by the homebred Peacehay Razzle Dazzle. He was the pick of G W Coon.

And then at 1200gns was one from Robert and Rebecca Jordan, Moortown Yogi Bear. This son of Langside United is out of an Ettrick Taggart daughter and was bought by Eustice Farms.

Close behind at 1150gns was another from the Peacehay pen, Peacehay You Monkey, a son of Peacehay Untocuhable out of a Douganhill Lonestar dam. He sold to J E Nicholson and Partners.

Previous buyer G W Coon then took Peacehay You Man at 1100gns, with this being another by Clarks Wizard and out of a Peacehay Untouchable dam.

Making 1000gns was Peacehay You Tube, with this son of Untouchable being out of a Sheeoch Tardis daughter and selling to W H Pedlar.
