A National Flock Competition, is held in the Society’s anniversary years. To support entries the Society used the regional club structure to feed into the national competition. The judge, Roy Campbell, Cowal, visited all 13 nominated flocks from across the UK.
The National Flock Competition 2024 was judged in mid/late October, and the results were announced during the 50th Anniversary Celebration Ball on Saturday 16th November.
The competition was operated under the Society’s Auspices. All nominated flocks entered were active, fully paid up members of the Society. Only pedigree Texels were judged, any other breeds were not included within the judging.
