On Friday afternoon the participants check in to their hotel before heading off to visit the Procters and Tatham Hall flocks managed by Jeff and Jennifer Aiken at Tatham Hall Farm, Wennington, Lancashire, with this visit including a barbeque and the first of the weekend’s competitions.
Saturday morning will then see the group head to Stockport to visit the Sportsmans and Mellor Vale flocks of the Boden family, where more of the competitive parts of the weekend will take place, including stock judging and some fun competitions. This will be followed by an evening enjoying the nightlife of Manchester.
Wrapping things up on Sunday morning will be a Go Karting trip which will form the final competitive part of proceedings, with the winning team from the weekend’s activities announced before participants head home on Sunday afternoon.
The weekend is a great opportunity for young breeders to come together for some fun and light-hearted competition as well as providing a platform for breeders to develop potential business relationships as well as lasting friendships.
