Northern Irish vendors attending either the Scottish National Sale, Lanark, the English National Sale, Worcester, or the Northern Irish National Sale, Ballymena, will need to be aware of the relevant export paperwork required for each sale.
For the Scottish and English National Sales vendors will need to complete the form available on this link and also supply an animal health certificate which their vet needs to complete.
Meanwhile, sheep for export from the Northern Irish National Sale, Ballymena, will need to have been accompanied to the sale with an owner’s declaration stating that the sheep consigned have been resident in Northern Ireland for the 30 days before the sale. This declaration can be found on this link.
Any vendors with queries on these health requirements should contact either their vet or DAERA for further clarification or the relevant forms.
